Reduce Cost per EV Connection | Reduce Grid Load | Improve user experience
DISCOVER THE APPCharging infrastructure in apartment complexes is falling behind EV adoption rates.
Current chargers offer two connections per EVSE. Once the EV is charged the user must move the EV to allow other cars to take its place.
Apartment developers want to keep their costs low and commercial EVSEs can be a significant expense
Grid overload - Energy Grids are limited in their capacity to charge electric vehicles.
Provide a charging solution that allows 4 times the charging capabilities.
A charger that allows multiple (~8) EV connections and runs off a queueing algorithm.
A charging solution that increases the number of EV connections without increasing the number of grid connections or EVSEs.
Chargers that communicate with one another and distribute the energy load by using machine learning.
Our Hardware
The Octo-Q hardware uses the same electricity as a commercial level 2 dual port charging station.
A closer look at our efficient, logical technology
Our OCTO-Q algorithm will charge two vehicles at a time but allow 8 to be connected. The queueing process will inform the user how long it will take to charge depending on the number of cars that are above in the queue. This technique drastically improves inefficiencies caused by idle charging.
By using our hardware and software, apartment complexes can reduce their costs per EV connection while providing sustainable charging infrastructure for growing demand.
